The song is about sensation that comedian experienced after using a drug commonly known as marijuana. The symptoms that the artist describes such as decrease in short-term memory or sensation of dry mouth show us that he knows effects of that substation. Fact that he knows cannabis's affect on human body may tell us that either he had contact with this fatally dangerous drug on some period of his life or that he studied really deeply it's affection on our metabolism.

Mr. Lajoie in his description of his psycho-narcotic state also mentions the fact that he had increased appetite. It is also symptom very often mentioned by users of this drug, which once again indicates us that he must have had some kind of knowledge about cannabis before he wrote that song.

Besides those effects mentioned above the artists describes are also few that are not that common for marijuana users. In some point of the song he sings that at for a while, when he was on a "trip" he thought that he was on a "chicken farm". Moreover, he was "tripping" so hard that those immaginary chickens had "human arms". Although artist himself knew that what he saw was quite imposible (he manifests that by the qouting himself in the song "that's fucked up why the chikens have human arms) those kinds of visual hallucinations are really unlikley to happen after using of marijuana. They are more characteristic to strong psychoactive substantions as lysergic acid diethylamide, commonly known as LSD.

Also it's really unlikely for marijuana users to display violent behavior such as desire to kill a helpless animal with baseball bat. I think that those kinds of exaggerate effects of cannabis the artist described in order to discourage people to using that drug.
